Microsoft Teams Bookings app for scheduling virtual appointments

The Bookings app for Microsoft Teams offers a seamless way to schedule virtual appointments, for example, school advisor office hours, healthcare visits, or financial consultations. Schedulers can work with multiple department and staff calendars, as well as communications with internal and external attendees, all from a single experience. For educational purposes, you can create a Bookings page for an entire department or just one course.

The Bookings app can help you tackle the tedious task of scheduling more quickly, while making much more efficient use of your organisation’s resources. Clarify meeting details as well as booking requirements and specify service providers to make scheduling appointments even more convenient. Bookings allows you to spend less time planning and more time focusing on your clients.

The biggest advantage of the Bookings app for Teams is that it’s highly flexible and customisable, allowing you to use this application for a variety of planning purposes – whether it’s for handling individual and departmental schedules and for meetings with your and other organisations. Multiple calendars can be created and managed within Bookings and each calendar will have its own set of settings focused on specific tasks or use cases.

Bookings has various editable fields and parameters that can be used to set page structure and information, as well as staff details, appointments and means of contacting a specific client, among other things. It is a single solution that can cover all parts of an organisation.

Introducing Microsoft Bookings

Last but not least, Bookings allows holding meetings using Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams. When an online meeting is booked, a unique link is created and sent to participants. They can use it to join the meeting via a web browser, phone call, Skype app or Teams. The Bookings app in Teams allows you to create Bookings calendars, assign staff, manage existing meetings and plan new ones – all without leaving the app.
